How Far Forward, Mr. President?

Following a brief vacation – let’s update how well Mr. “Forward” Obama’s socialist policies are doing.

1 – LATINOS

According to Fox News Latino:

“While Latinos are gaining in political clout, they are also falling down the economic ladder, new Census numbers show.

Latinos poverty rates climbed to 28 percent after the census reconfigured its algorithm to take into account medical costs and government programs. The Hispanic poverty level rose after the government took into account safety-net programs such as food stamps and housing, which have lower participation among immigrants and non-English speakers.”

Obama’s and the Democrats’ laws and policies drive Latinos into deep poverty due to rising unemployment, inflation and welfare “teats” marketed to them by this president. Theirs is a growing entitlement bloc of unhappy voters that are voting themselves into greater unhappiness.

2 – UNEMPLOYMENT

According to Breitbart.com:

“The Department of Labor has announced that new jobless claims rose by a staggering 78,000 in the first week after the election, reaching a seasonally-adjusted total of 439,000.

The highest numbers of new filings came from Pennsylvania and Ohio, where there were thousands of layoffs in the construction, manufacturing, and automobile industries.”

Irony, isn’t it? Obama’s biggest supporters are most negatively affected by his policies and they still vote for him.

3 – FEDERAL BUDGET

According to The Hill:

“Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) confirmed Thursday that she will seek the chairmanship of the Senate Budget Committee next year but told The Hill that she cannot commit to doing a budget.

This opens up the possibility that Senate Democrats will avoiding passing a budget resolution for the fourth year in a row.

The last time the Senate passed a standalone budget resolution was in 2009.”

Remember her words when the liberal media nabbers about how those rascally Republicans are blocking budgets.

Sen. Harry Reid says we don’t need a budget. The reason the Democrats don’t want a budget is they don’t want accountability.
