Katrina Deaux – Gun Confiscation During Flood Across Our Northern Border

RCMP Forcing Their Way Into Private Homes to Search for And Confiscate Lawful Firearms
RCMP Forcing Their Way Into Private Homes to Search for And Confiscate Lawful Firearms

Amidst massive flooding, police evacuate residents then force their way into private homes to confiscate privately owned – legally owned – firearms.

No, this is NOT a story about post-Katrina New Orleans. This is a story about an abuse of police powers in High River area of Alberta, Canada.

As flood waters began to rise, the RCMP ordered evacuation. As citizens left their homes behind, Mounties set up a perimeter around the area to prevent looting and errant entry into a dangerous situation.

With citizens away and that secure perimeter in place, RCMP officers went about breaking into private homes to seize firearms, wholly contrary to Canadian law.

Abuse of police powers is becoming endemic in western societies around the world. Why? I don’t know that I can definitively answer that, but it is my sense that there is growing mutual mistrust and disrespect between law enforcement and citizens.

One goal of CARGO Rockwall Gun Club is to foster civil, respectful relations between our local law enforcement agencies and our citizens. Want to know more? Send an email to CARGO.Rockwall@gmail.com. We’ll add you to our monthly newsletter to advise you on our club meetings and relevant matters.

We in Rockwall are blessed with law enforcement personnel who are known to restrain themselves from violation of Constitutionally-guaranteed natural rights.

There are exceptions, to be sure. In fact this writer was on he receiving end of abuse of authority some years ago. At the time, I wrote a letter to the chief of police. Sadly, our Rockwall Chief of Police at that time ignored my complaint about an abusive officer who pulled his gun on me, attempting to intimidate me into allowing him to search my place of business. I stood behind the Fourth Amendment and he eventually went away. Yes, this incident was witnessed by his fellow officers and, yes, he is still on the force.

What would I do differently? If today I would experience a similar abuse of police power, there are definitely steps I would take.

First of all, don’t get into a “pissing contest” with a policeman. You will lose every time. Leave all misdeeds to the policeman. That way when you have your day in court, the jury will have a very clear picture of the circumstances.

Second, hire a good lawyer to do your talking. Lawyers are your advocates – “one who pleads on behalf of another”.

Third, be intentional to cause pain – not physical pain, but FISCAL and REPUTATIONAL pain. A municipal government may be indifferent to complaints against their law enforcement team. They will take great interest in what his or her misbehavior will cost, in terms of dollars and negative publicity.

Join us every Second Thursday evening in the meeting room at Soulman’s Bar-B-Que in Rockwall. Come a little before 6 to go through the line and secure the best seat in the house. We start promptly at 6 and we end promptly at 7. Stay afterward to speak with law enforcement officers, licensed firearms dealers and certified CHL instructors.

A Trail from Darwin to Davis – Saga of the campaign of eugenics by Democrats

Chain of Death Leads to Texas Senate

In his early life, Francis explored the African continent, “…engaged in African exploration, travel writing, geography, and meteorology”. Later, Galton was influenced by a book written by his cousin Charles Darwin.

Darwin’s infamous book was “THE ORIGIN OF SPECIES BY MEANS OF NATURAL SELECTION, subtitled PRESERVATION OF FAVOURED RACES IN THE STRUGGLE FOR LIFE” written in 1859.

preservation-of-favored-racesSir Galton wrote his book on the shoulders, so to speak, of his cousin Charles Darwin. Galton presented his concept of “eugenics” in 1869 in a book titled “Heredity Genius

“Eugenics is … the most adequate and thorough avenue to the solution of racial, political and social problems. Margaret Sanger. “ The Eugenic Value of Birth Control Propaganda.” Birth Control Review, October 1921, page 5.

Subsequent to Darwin’s theory and Cousin Galton’s mandate to exterminate blacks, Margaret Sanger formed Planned Parenthood to exterminate through attrition black Americans and other “substandard” humans.

Today, Planned Parenthood is a money machine, raking in over $164 million a year from abortions. This corporate giant slaughters over 300,000 babies a year. About $225 million comes from private donations, about $488 million from taxpayers. Yes, my fellow Americans, we collectively and separately have blood on our hands.

Since 1979 Roe v. Wade, the number of babies slaughtered is over 55 million, half females. So, where is their freedom of choice?

Bringing you up to date, last week Fort Worth Senator Wendy Davis’ filibuster was bolstered by a democrat mob scene that disrupted the Texas Senate long enough to kill SB 5 that would not have banned abortions, but would require them to be performed in a surgical hospital – something that would seriously cut into the profits of Planned Parenthood.

Wendy Davis and her Mob
Wendy Davis and her Mob

We learned today that most of the pro-abortion mob was from out of state.

Governor Rick Perry has called a special session to continue the fight for life in Texas.

Let us not forget the underlying reason for abortion. Its avoid purpose is to rid our nation of blacks, Hispanics and anyone not akin to an Aryan model.

Let’s not forget that two forces are at play: greed on the part of Planned Parenthood and racism on the part of the Democrats.

ACLU Racist Claims Against Rockwall County Without Merit

ACLU Wrong on Rockwall

The ACLU accuses Rockwall County of ‘racial profiling’, listing us seventh on their racial ‘witch hunt’ list. In an article in our local Rockwall County Herald Banner, the ACLU report decries  “the aggressive policing of marijuana” as “time-consuming, costly, racially-biased” and unworkable. Read the full story via link below – click on

County pinged by ACLU for “racially-biased” drug enforcement – by Cliff Gibson, Herald-Banner Staff

I suggest two points to consider.

Point Number 1

It’s the ACLU that demonstrates racism. The highest on their list is Van Zandt County at 34.7%, a ranking of 7 Texas counties with Rockwall at 6.1%. Obviously, the ACLU has assigned its own standard. Why is 6.1% bad and 6.0% good? What I posit is simply this: does the ACLU label Rockwall County “racist” because we are seventh on their list? Why not take it all the way to those counties where the arrest record is 2% or even less? My opinion is the ACLU is attempting to smear Rockwall County solely on the basis of a meaningless statistic. The fact that organization did not interview our local law enforcement agencies is evidence of ignorant bias.

Point Number 2

Incarceration seems to be the “magic elixir” expected to cure all society’s ills. To support this statement, I point to global statistics. While we have only 5% of the world’s population, we have 25% of the world’s prisoners. How is this working for us?
Experts who study the effects of incarceration of nonviolent law breakers say jails and prisons have become educational centers where petty criminals learn from the masters. As further evidence, let’s consider recidivism: the Pew Center on the States report titled “State of Recidivism – The Revolving Door of America’s Prisons.

According to the survey results, 45.4 percent of people released from prison in 1999 and 43.3 percent of those sent home in 2004 were reincarcerated within three years, either for committing a new crime or for violating conditions governing their release.

Summary

I personally know and frequently communicate with leading law enforcement officers in my county of Rockwall. Doing so isn’t a herculean task. Ours is the smallest of 254 Texas counties, only about 144 total square miles. Our Rockwall County Sheriff and the chiefs of police I know are not racist. They are patriots who fervently believe in and support the Constitution and our natural rights.

Arrest records are skewed by the fact of Interstate Highway 30, the drug corridor between Mexico and New York City. Drug enforcement officers have described to me the flow of money and illegal drugs through our fair city: eastbound is the ‘drug side’; westbound is the ‘money side’.

Exponentially more people drive through Rockwall County than live here every day of the year.

I agree we incarcerate far too many people who would otherwise be effectively disciplined through probation that entails accountability and education. Faith-based organizations like Care Center Ministries in Mesquite, Texas are tremendously successful in the rehabilitation of offenders.

Care Center Ministries RACE Program for men with life-controlling problems

Incarceration for minor drug offences often means bankruptcy for the family, loss of a parent from the lives of growing children and a very heavy economic burden on the community.

Ethanol: Wet Gas Pumps, Dry Water Pumps – Reason without Rhyme

Doing the Math

Corn

Annually, 5,000,000,000 (5 billion) bushels of corn are converted to ethanol – that “10% or less” additive to each and every gallon of auto gasoline mandated by law – this is one form of agricultural subsidy.

Each bushel of corn sucks up 2,500 gallons of precious water. Multiplying 5,000,000,000 times 2,500 yields a product of 12,250,000,000,000 (12.5 trillion) gallons of water annually expended to produce motor fuel ethanol. To understand the magnitude of this equation, 12.5 trillion gallons is one-tenth of Lake Erie, a very big lake. Unfortunately this water for corn comes not from Lake Erie but from aquifers.

There are no nightly news reports about the disastrous dissipation of precious groundwater resources. They can’t see it. You can’t see it. Nevertheless, it’s happening right under your feet.

Milk

Milk is another big-business welfare issue. One gallon of water or one pound of cheese requires 2,000 gallons of water. Your government provides “price supports” – taxpayer funded subsidies – for dairy products. The federal government stores millions of pounds of cheese and powdered milk in vast warehouses.

Water – From Where We Get It

I “milked” the “corny” statistics above to heighten your awareness of our situation here in the Lone Star State.

Below is a map of Texas aquifers.  Some are sand-and-gravel. Some are limestone caverns. Neither is enough to satisfy our ever-growing appetite for water.

majorAquifers

Why Reservoirs, If We Have All These Aquifers?

Here in north Texas the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) provides water for over 1.6 million persons living within the service area. By 2060, NTMWD anticipates having to meet the water needs of 3.8 million. !00% of NTMWD water is surface water from area lakes, none from aquifers. Perhaps now you see the problem: low rainfall, low water supply with tandem water restrictions. No, it’s not a government conspiracy to control your life; drought threatens North Texas civilization, as we know it. Take water restrictions seriously.

Reference: NTMWD Website

Bad to Worse – And Not A Drop to Drink

Man Made Drought

Indirectly affecting North Texas consumers is a man-made drought out in California. Early in his first administration, Obama shut off irrigation water supply to the San Joaquin Valley, thus a man-made drought with deleterious effects on all Americans.

Monoculture – It ‘Bees’ the Death of Agriculture

Genetically engineered seeds become plants that produce their own pesticides. And, so it is with genetically engineered corn. These self-producing insecticides are killing off the bees. That’s very bad news for crops that depend on bees for pollination. Corn doesn’t rely on bees alone; wind is all corn needs for pollination.

Vast plantings of one kind of crop – “monoculture” – spells the death of bees.

Reference: BBC News – Bee Decline Linked to Falling Biodiversity

Vital vegetables and fruits depend on bee pollination. Absent the bees, your diet will become as boring as manna was for the children of Israel in the wilderness.

Action By You

  • Contact your Congressional delegation. Tell them to end mandatory ethanol in gasoline supplies.
  • Tell your Congressional delegation to end milk price supports. Fact is we adults shouldn’t drink milk. As for Blue Bell ice cream, that’s another story.
  • Locally, diligently follow drought water restrictions published by your water supply corporation or municipal government.

Help Is On The Way

A major (apx. 330 million dollar) water pipeline from Lake Texoma to Wylie should be finished and online after January 2014.

Lake Texoma represents about 28% of our available water supplies. The pipeline bypasses draining Texoma into Lake Lavon, instead transporting it directly to the NTMWD treatment plant in Wylie.

The Longest Day – Not Victory, But a Turning Point

21 June 2013 – The Longest Day

Today marks the summer solstice, the longest day of the year. It began this morning four minutes after midnight central standard time.

The summer solstice occurs exactly when the Earth's axial tilt is most inclined towards the sun at its maximum of 23° 26'.
The summer solstice occurs exactly when the Earth’s axial tilt is most inclined towards the sun at its maximum of 23° 26′.

On Sunday, we will enjoy a “super moon” when the moon is at perigee (closest point to the earth). It will be at its closest to earth for all of 2013.

On Sunday, June 23, at 7 a.m. EDT (1100 GMT), the moon will arrive at perigee — the point in its orbit bringing it closest to Earth), a distance of 221,824 miles (356,991 kilometers).

Why do I relate these astronomical observations? I do so solely so you can relate in future years a turning of America back to the Living God.

Tremendous forces of evil have befallen us. What we have known throughout our history as “good” are now called “evil”.

Our forefathers publicly revered and trusted in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. They frequently quoted the Bible in their letters. God was openly venerated in our Declaration of Independence, but now the mere mention of His name is cause for arrest in some quarters of this country. This president has openly declared America a “Muslim nation” to be wholly so by the year 2016.

“The system established by the City of Meridian, Lauderdale County, and DYS to incarcerate children for school suspensions ‘shocks the conscience,’ resulting in the incarceration of children for alleged ‘offenses’ such as dress code violations, flatulence, profanity, and disrespect. By policy and practice, [the Meridian Police Department] MPD automatically arrests all students referred to MPD by the District."

Other pagan religious notions have likewise replaced faith and common sense. This president and his ardent supporters actually believe we hold power over the earth’s atmosphere, that we can change its chemical composition at will. Unfortunately, far too many of our people have bought into the notion of anthropogenic ‘global warming’, ozone depletion and like false theories.

I choose to remember this as “The Longest Day” in a war to save America from certain demise. D-Day in Europe was heralded as “The Longest Day” in a book by that name. The Longest Day did not and does not commemorate victory, but a turning of the war.

D-Day in Europe: The Longest Day
D-Day in Europe: The Longest Day

Enjoy this the longest day of the year and the super moon that follows on Sunday.

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?
Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary?

Don’t you know? Don’t you hear?
Haven’t you been told from the start?
Don’t you understand how the earth is set up?
He who sits above the circle of the earth —
for whom its inhabitants appear like grasshoppers —
stretches out the heavens like a curtain,
spreads them out like a tent to live in.
He reduces princes to nothing,
the rulers of the earth to emptiness.
Scarcely are they planted, scarcely sown,
scarcely their stem taken root in the ground,
when he blows on them, they dry up,
and the whirlwind carries them off like straw.
“With whom, then, will you compare me?
With whom am I equal?” asks the Holy One.
Turn your eyes to the heavens!
See who created these?
He brings out the army of them in sequence,
summoning each by name.
Through his great might and his massive strength,
not one of them is missing.
Why do you complain, Ya‘akov;
why do you say, Isra’el,
“My way is hidden from Adonai,
my rights are ignored by my God”?
Haven’t you known, haven’t you heard
that the everlasting God, Adonai,
the Creator of the ends of the earth,
does not grow tired or weary?
His understanding cannot be fathomed.
He invigorates the exhausted,
he gives strength to the powerless.
Young men may grow tired and weary,
even the fittest may stumble and fall;
but those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength,
they will soar aloft as with eagles’ wings;
when they are running they won’t grow weary,
when they are walking they won’t get tired.

The Darker the Days, the More We Must Have Faith

Economic uncertainty, pending inflation, devaluation of the U.S. dollar, operating federal government without a balanced budget, astronomical federal debt, persecution of Christians and conservative groups, expanding Islamic influence – all these may seem insurmountable obstacles to your personal success, but your personal success is a function of the choices you make.

At any one point in time, your life represents the sum of all the choices you have ever made. If you truly want a different life, you must think differently and you must change your choices.

Zig Ziglar famously says, “You need a checkup from the neck, up.”

True, there are a lot of negative influences in America today. Yet, there is one influence that dissolves all opposition to your joy and success: faith.

Napoleon Hill, in his famous book ‘Think and Grow Rich’ wrote, “FAITH is a state of mind which may be induced, or created, by affirmation or repeated instructions to the subconscious mind, through the principle of autosuggestion.”

The Bible speaks to faith as no other book. Read Hebrews chapter 11.

Blaise Pascal, Christian, scientist and philosopher said, “Faith affirms many things, respecting which the senses are silent, but nothing that they deny. It is superior, but never opposed to their testimony.”

My personal definition of faith: “Having faith, is the act of accepting something as true on the authority of another.”

You cannot and must not act by faith under false or misleading authority.

Steps to success:

  1. Validate authority – What’s the person’s ‘track record’? How do deeds match words? How do the person’s values compare with Biblical doctrines? This principle applies to investment counselors, politicians, employers and family elders.
  2. Act on the object of your desire with faith.
  3. Be persistent. There will be opposition, but you don’t have to be overcome by it. “The sluggard craves and gets nothing, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied.” – Proverbs 13:4

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Good question, is it not? The title, I mean:

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

This question comes from Psalm 11:3 KJV.

AT the outset, long before our forefathers revolted against British tyranny, the foundations of our republic were already lying in place, values wise.

Just to clarify language used in our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution, words have meaning. Religion, for example. At the time of the birth of this nation, ‘religion’ meant Christianity, faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This very important, very significant word did not imply a pluralistic panoply of contemporary non-Christian religions, as we know them today.

Innumerable times the founding fathers quoted Holy Scripture, the Bible, in their writings that expounded American ideals. In fact, our Constitution rests upon the Ten Commandments given Moses on Mount Sinai.

click on image for larger size
click on image for larger size

In Supreme Court case Stone v. Graham, the Court ruled posting of the Ten Commandments in public schools unconstitutional. Unconstitutional? Here is what the court said:

If the posted copies of the Ten Commandments are to have any effect at all, it will be to induce the schoolchildren to read, meditate upon, perhaps to venerate and obey the Ten Commandments. — Stone v. Graham, 449 U.S. 39, 42 (1980)

Gasp! Can you imagine what could happen if schoolchildren read, meditated upon, venerated and obeyed the Ten Commandments?

Crass, albeit intentional, ignorance of our history, our founding documents and the ideas of the founding fathers have been lost from several generations. As the Psalm says, if the foundations are destroyed, we will be in one hell of a mess. That there be no misunderstanding, use of the word ‘hell’ is in every sense a literal hell, not a curse word.

If you rob a people of their history, you can control their destiny.

Historical revisionism isn’t a new phenomena. It’s been around from the time of Cain and Able.

What can the righteous do? We must and we can teach our fellow man and their children our true history. Change will not happen overnight, but come change will.
