Michael Jr. “Some of my best friends are black”

Some months ago, comedian Michael Jr. spoke at Gateway Church, Southlake Campus. His ‘sermon’, if that’s an appropriate term for his presentation, was most unusual and most rewarding.

“I’m not racist…Some of my best friends are black…Actually, half of my friends are black…Well – I’ve got one friend, but he’s half black.”

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. — Proverbs 3:5 NKJV

And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. — Romans 12:2 NKJV

God invented humor. He wants us to laugh. Don’t believe me?

A merry heart does good, like medicine… — Proverbs 17:22 NKJV

We’ll never heal either ourselves or others by being morose, downcast or depressed. Learn to laugh at yourself. If you do, you’ll never be hurt by anyone who laughs at you.

Enjoy this most unusual sermon and find your “laughing place” today.
