Honorable Ralph M. Hall

President Obama appointed Gina McCarthy, a radical “global warming” extremist environmentalist, to head the EPA. Her number one priority, she declares is “climate change”. What does this mean for Texans?
Let’s examine Gina McCarthy’s words spoken before students at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
“[Mr. Obama gave] what I really think is a most remarkable speech by a president of the United States… Essentially, he said that it is time to act. And he said he wasn’t going to wait for Congress, but that he had administrative authorities and that it was time to start utilizing those more effectively and in a more concerted way.”
What is her chief qualification for the job?
“The study of primitive culture was the best education I could have for working in government.” The Washington Post, July 31, 2013
Congressman Hall, I researched the Constitution to discover those amazing ‘administrative authorities’, but, to my disappointment, none were to be found. It could be that ‘remarkable speeches’ are the key qualifier of these new-found administrative authorities, but I could be wrong.
This woman is a menace to civil society and should not have been allowed to take office. She draws her authority from Obama’s remarkable speeches, not the Supreme Law of the Land.
Furthermore, perhaps her studies in primitive cultures imminently qualifies her to be a Democrat, by no means does it qualify her for her position at the EPA.
I foresee her interference at every turn in U.S. energy policies. Therefore, she will be a menace to my fellow American consumers of oil, gasoline, coal, natural gas and other fuels.
If Obama proceeds with his radical, ignorant global-warming agenda outside the law, I demand impeachment proceedings be set forth.
