Doctors, nurses and office staff will be asking very intimate questions. While it’s not unlawful to lie to state officials, lying to federal officials like IRS AGENTS is another matter punishable by imprisonment. [18 USC 1001]
At this point in time, we have our Republican majority in the House and our Republican minority in the Senate wholly behind defunding ObamaCare. We had a great victory in the House, but there looms large a major battle in the Senate. If it passes in the Senate, we still have to get past a leftist president hell-bent to foist on us the largest tax increase in the history of our country.
Don’t relent now. Daily send emails and make those all-important phone calls to your two U.S. Senators, telling them to defund ObamaCare.
“But”, you may say, “our two Texas senators are already on board. Why should we call them?” That’s a very good question. Allow me to explain.
Senators and Representatives keep a count of all calls. When they make their arguments for or against a particular bill, they are able to use this information to further or defeat the bill. In this case, all your “Defund ObamaCare” calls and emails go against ObamaCare. The other senators are likewise hearing from constituents, so don’t relent. Keep up the pressure.
What About a Government Shutdown?
What about it? House Republicans have fulfilled their Constitutional duty to fund government. If Obama shuts down federal government, he and his Democrat minions will own the consequences 100%.
On the other hand, if Republicans cave in and allow ObamaCare to be funded, then we Republicans will be saddled with the consequences of ObamaCare.
We have the majority of Americans on our side.
“You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it.” – Margaret Thatcher
