President Violates14th Amendment Equal Protection Clause re: Individual Mandate

December 20, 201314thamendment

We read this morning how President Barack H. Obama decrees “Americans whose health plans are being canceled because their coverage doesn’t meet Obamacare rules will be exempt from the mandate that they carry insurance, as reported in Bloomberg News.

Looking high and low through Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution, I desperately sought presidential authority to re-write the Supreme Law of the Land, but, it’s just not there.

At this point I introduce the Fourteenth Amendment “Equal Protection” clause:The equal protection clause is not intended to provide “equality” among individuals or classes but only “equal application” of the laws.

Therefore, I deem the “individual mandate” unconstitutional, void and unenforceable. Either the law applies to all or it applies to none.

Let’s tell our Congressional Delegation to enact legislation that removes the “individual mandate”.
