Before 2009, there were on average 5 mass shootings per year.
After 2009, from 2009 through 2012, there have been on average 16 mass shootings per year, a threefold increase in murder and mayhem.
No, Barack Obama didn’t pull the triggers. Obama is a symptom of societal spiritual sickness, not the cause of it.
The threefold increase in mass shootings speaks to the spiritual condition of America, an America that would elect a president who openly calls for fundamental transformation of America, a president born to communists and mentored by communists.
That’s the bad news.
Here’s the good news.
The pro-life movement has successfully caused pro-life legislation to be passed across America, leading to closure of hundreds of abortion clinics.
An awareness that the Second Amendment isn’t about guns, but about the preservation of life and private property. The astonishing rise of the armed citizen parallels closure of abortion clinics.
Let’s not allow a simple truth to escape this discussion. The Second Amendment, as with all the Bill of Rights, isn’t there to assure we can hunt deer and rabbits. The Bill of Rights exists to protect us against tyrannical government.
This same tyrannical government that strives to disarm us is the same tyrannical government that strives to promote aberrant sexual behaviors while also pushing to advance the murder of unborn Americans.
Herein is the good news: a new and fresh spiritual revival is arising among our fellow Americans. The strength of the pro-life movement and its twin sister the movement to preserve constitutionally-guaranteed freedoms, specifically the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms are the specific indicators of spiritual revival.
