Since Day-One of this president’s candidacy, speculations swirled around the possibility Barack Hussein Obama is actually a ‘closet’ Muslim. He claims to be Christian, but only his Imam knows for sure.
I suppose Obama’s recent and ongoing violations of diplomatic protocols are the harbingers of Islamic thought in the White House. With his mouth he says he supports Israel’s right to defend herself, but his pandering to Iran and other Muslim nations says volumes about his affections for the enemies of Israel. The enemies of Israel are also the enemies of the United States of America.
“Since the establishment of limited Palestinian self-rule in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the mid-1990s, the U.S. government has committed approximately $5 billion in bilateral assistance to the Palestinians, who are among the world’s largest per capita recipients of international foreign aid. Successive Administrations have requested aid for the Palestinians in apparent support of at least three major U.S. policy priorities of interest to Congress:
Preventing terrorism against Israel from Hamas and other militant organizations.
Fostering stability, prosperity, and self-governance in the West Bank that inclines Palestinians toward peaceful coexistence with Israel and a “two-state solution.”
Meeting humanitarian needs.“
The above photograph begs the question: Does desecration of Christian burial sites fall under “Meeting humanitarian needs”?
Let’s tell Congress to end all foreign aid to Muslim countries. There is not even ONE Muslim country we can truly count as a friend.
The U.S. disbursed $33.2 billion—$19 billion in economic assistance to 184 countries and $14.2 billion in military assistance to 142 countries. Out of the top six U.S. foreign aid recipients, five of them were Muslim countries. And yet it seems the U.S. can’t buy good press in the Middle East. – Forbes Magazine Online
By the Numbers: 2014 Foreign Aid
Total financial aid to Pakistan in 2014 was $858,000,000. Average annual authorization for foreign aid to Pakistan is $1,500,000,000. (billion with a ‘B’).
This week an Afghan soldier turned his weapon on American workers in Afghanistan. No other country receives more foreign aid than Afghanistan.
As an aside. learn how an ISIS fighter from Pakistan got funding via the US.

I read today an article in The National Journal dated 27 January 2015Florida Sen. Marco Rubio wants “Congress to permanently extend the authorities governing several of the National Security Agency’s controversial spying programs, including its mass surveillance of domestic phone records“.
The proper role of government is a topic near and dear to me. The most fundamental duty of government operating under authority of the Constitution is to protect and preserve the rights of our fellow citizens.
In the post-911 world of “homeland security”, actions authorized by Congress and carried out by nameless bureaucrats have become, I believe, a greater threat to me and my fellow citizens than the sum of all so-called “radical Muslims”.
It was not the original intent of our founding fathers that federal government turn on citizens, treating us all as criminal suspects, guilty until proven innocent.
This “homeland security” mindset adopted by federal and state governments threatens the foundations of our beloved country.
Let’s review police actions following the Boston bombing incident, for one example.
Watertown, MA police engaged the Tsarnev brothers in a shootout out of which police captured Tamerlan alive, but died after his injured brother Dzhokhar drove over him as he fled. Shortly thereafter there ensued a house to house search for the surviving Muslim terrorist. Citizens were forced at gunpoint from their homes without benefit of search warrants and most assuredly without cause.
Later, police did in fact capture a bloody but alive Dzhokhar, but it wasn’t massive police work that found him. All those unconstitutional searches that terrorized families were for nought. It was a homeowner who discovered a bleeding Dzhokhar hiding in a covered motor boat.
I could list for you numerous instances of unconstitutional warrantless searches and seizures taking place across the fruited plain, all as a consequence of Patriot Act, NSA, TSA, etc. disregard for the fundamental duty of all government: to protect the rights of citizens. First. Not maybe. Not sometimes. Always. And always first.
Federal government has become a “power monster” that threatens the civil and natural rights of us all, including you, Congressman.
Your committee position has uniquely positioned you to represent us. You can be sure there are not 317,000,000 suspicious persons living in this country. As such, I encourage you to think first on the proper role of government when you participate in your committee meetings. I believe, I know, federal government is moving ever toward fascism. Is that what you want? I don’t think so.
I encourage you to read and study the Constitution. Reexamine the 30 enumerated powers and our precious Bill of Rights, particularly the Fourth Amendment. I want you to take upholding the Constitution as seriously as do I.
Wager earners pay into the fund, but non-wage earners reap the benefits. Retirees eligible for Social Security payments are not receiving entitlements, they are receiving dividends.
Survivors beneficiaries and disabled persons (for the most part) beneficiaries are not persons who have contributed in any significant way to the Social Security fund.
Total recipients of payments from the Social Security Administration: 64,142,000
Actual over-65 years of age retirees receiving payments: 40,742,000
23,400,000 non-contributors are draining the Social Security Trust Fund.
As of the fourth quarter of 2014, 8,954,518 are receiving disability payments, while 46,000,000+ are on food stamps.
Over the years Congress and presidents have used the Social Security Trust Fund like grandma’s cookie jar. Present official projections by the Congressional Budget Office predict the demise of Social Security at or before year 2026, 11 years out.
Probably the most disturbing trend is the growing number of persons on Social Security disability payments. According the the government, 35.2% of recipients of disability payments are persons with mental disorders.
Anecdotal testimony: my former neighbors son drew disability payments from age 18 to present day, over 18 years of payments. Due to monthly checks, he had no incentive to work. Those payments fed his alcoholism and paid for his car.
Mentally ill persons crowd our jails. They go untreated, due to progressive liberal policies intended to prevent those mentally ill persons from being “stigmatized”.
Click on the two charts to understand the frightening magnitude of the problem of mental illness in 2015 America.
Houston: We have a problem. It’s time to talk about this enormous problem.
My wife and I were present in Alpine, Texas about 20 years ago where we experienced a 4.1 earthquake. No one suggested ‘fracking’ as the cause. You see, fracking hadn’t been invented yet. Geology of the Big Bend area of Texas is out of this world. Late night visits to a roadside park near Marfa, Texas are rewarded by a mysterious light show in which strange lights appear from nowhere, move about or remain stationary, then disappear. Spanish explorer Coronado was the first European to record them. Student pilots of WW2 saw them. To this day, no one has a satisfactory scientific answer as to the origin of those lights. The Pine Canyon Caldera reminds us that Texas was once the scene of volcanic activity.
I doubt ‘fracking’ causes the ground under you feet to shake. Surely there is an explanation. Who knows? Perhaps it’s another Texas volcano?
It’s for our safety and security, we are told. Yes, our governments want to “protect” us, they say. I don’t accept that lie. What I see today is governments (yes, plural) acting to protect themselves from citizens.
Here in my tiny county of Rockwall (smallest of 254 Texas counties), I must empty my pockets before entering the county courthouse. Looking back over my shoulder a backward glance, such was not always the case. It started with searches of persons entering district court, but soon expanded to searches of all persons entering our temporary courthouse. Now, all visitors entering, those who are not there for court business but simply to do business with everyday county officers must undergo the indignity of a search of their persons. How does this square with the Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution?
For almost 50 years I have been conducting business on military bases. Up until a few years ago, my drivers license and later insurance certificate, those items and common sense police work were sufficient to gain me access. In fact, for many years I drove onto Sheppard AFB and NAS Fort Worth JRB with even less identification. No longer. Now “every citizen a suspect” and deeply personal, often invasive, searches of one’s person is de rigueur.
In today’s Hollywood actors and actresses (the female gender) who expose their allegiance to our great nation or confess their faith in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob become pariahs unworthy of top billing.
Welcome to an America where the rule of law, Constitutional protections of individual liberty and common sense have gone the way of the dodo bird.
For you too young to know what I’m talking about, here below is a video of the most celebrated entertainers of my youth singing blessings over our beloved country.
Where are we today? The pastor where our president attended church for over 20 years curses America.
One can argue ‘context’ until blue in the face. One cannot argue facts in evidence.
I long for the America in which I was born and raised. The America where we freely moved about without government restraint or invasive searches. The America where I would pay for my airline tickets in cash or personal check and not raise suspicion of my person. We didn’t remove our shoes or submit to groin searches or naked body scans. We were treated as valued customers. Where are we today? I see TSA agents, Muslim women in religious garb, inspecting ME. ME? I am the suspicious person? God have mercy on us.
Democrats learned from the masters of democracy how to buy votes: free stuff and subsidized stuff and more free stuff. The Great Society, the
The War on Poverty, The New Deal, extended unemployment benefits, unbridled distribution of food stamps and siding with organized labor unions against private enterprise – the Democrat Party applies reformist and gradualist methods that reshape our republic to conform to the socioeconomic model of social democracy.
I remind you of the dictionary definition of ‘socialism’: a transitional stage after the proletarian revolution in the development of a society from capitalism to communism: characterized by the distribution of income according to work rather than need (Leninist ideal).
Socialism shall forever remain an economic theory. Why? Because it cannot be proven to work. Socialism failed in Russia, Cuba, Argentina and Venezuela and it will fail here in these united states.
Our banking system historically worked by restricting credit to credit-worthy borrowers. Democrat lawmaking has slowly but surely changed banking through regulations and political pressure, forcing banks to lend to credit risks. Over 20 years ago I bought a real estate investing course of study from Carlton Sheets. Actually becoming a real estate investor is one of those things I’ve thought about, but never seriously jumped into. One statement Mr. Sheets said about the market: only a small percentage, somewhere around 25%, of home buyers actually qualify for home loans. In other words, if home buyers had no government-backed programs, banks would reject about 75% of applicants would be denied a mortgage. After more than 20 years following the real estate market, I came to agree with him.
Mortgage Fiascos in the Making
Once upon a time, in a far away place called Washington, D.C., compassionate wizards began creating a mortgage system whereby future homeowners would not have to save money to build a home. First came the Emergency Relief and Construction Act of 1932, followed by a series of “improvements and fine tuning”: establishment of the Federal Home Loan Bank Board in 1932, the National Housing Act of 1934 which in turn created the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) thus establishing the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development which office continues to this day, held by former San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro. Title II of the Act of 1934 established two basic mortgage insurance programs: Section 203 mortgage insurance for one to four family homes; and Section 207 multifamily project mortgages.
The Bankhead-Jones Farm Tenant Act came into play in 1937 to help tenant farmers own homes. Today, the USDA administers this program that now overlaps with other federal programs to provide low-cost housing and subsidized rents through the Section 8A program.
A string of federal laws and non-laws followed the above: the Housing Act of 1949, the the Housing Act of 1949, JFK’s Executive Order 11063 (housing became a civil rights matter), the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1965, the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (created Section 8 housing) and the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act of 1976 in conjunction with the Community Reinvestment Act of 1978 sealed federal government’s role as the sovereign of home loans and all things housing. Lenders and investors no longer have a say in risk management. Government has converted the housing market into a civil rights matter, thereby becoming the arbiter of creditworthiness.
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are America’s two largest mortgage companies, both creations of Congress intended to help the home lending industry. This brings to mind Pres. Ronald Reagan’s famous line,
“The most terrifying words in the English language are: I’m from the government and I’m here to help.”
These two companies that absolutely dominate the market are no longer government entities. Long ago they were released from federal ownership and launched as private lenders. Borrowers and investors assume they are both “too big to fail”.
The 2008 economic collapse wasn’t a function of government or banking practices or your reading skills. It was a function of a seven-year economic cycle Jews call the Shemitta with means “the release”. Learn more Chabad.org: What Is Shemittah? It’s historically verifiable and predictable.
When the stock market crashed in 2007, investors moved their money into “safe” instruments like government-backed mortgages. How well did that work? September 2008 saw the culmination of a Shemitta when the housing bubble broke and the federal government re-assumed ownership of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae.
Independent thinker, a practical economist Peter Schiff predicted the housing crash of 2007-2008. Fellow Republicans like Art Laffer decried his predictions, saying everything was going to be just fine, mighty fine. Why was Mr. Schiff confident of his economic projection? I suggest his knowledge of historical and Biblical facts to which he was made aware through his Jewish heritage gave him insight.
Back in the spring of 2012, one economist gave us a relative scale to understand the first and coming housing market crashes. He said in the first, 2.5 million children lost their homes. In the next, 3 million children with lose theirs.
I believe. Holy scripture says, “A prudent man sees the evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished [with suffering].” (Amplified Proverbs 22:3)
George Santayana, Spanish philosopher wrote in The Life of Reason: Reason in Common Sense. Scribner’s, 1905: 284, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” (read this volume on line: REASON IN COMMON SENSE)
“Think about this. Wrap your minds around it. This is serious business, rebels. Take it to heart. Remember your history, your long and rich history. I am God, the only God you’ve had or ever will have— incomparable, irreplaceable— From the very beginning telling you what the ending will be, All along letting you in on what is going to happen, Assuring you, ‘I’m in this for the long haul, I’ll do exactly what I set out to do,’ Calling that eagle, Cyrus, out of the east, from a far country the man I chose to help me. I’ve said it, and I’ll most certainly do it. I’ve planned it, so it’s as good as done.”
I am neither a prophet nor the son of a prophet. I am just an old man who trusts God with his life and I study history. No human actions can alter the future. Seven-year economic cycles are ordained of God who changes not. Seven cycles of seven years precede the fiftieth year called Jubilee. God’s laws are immutable. Congress cannot repeal them. President Obama can’t dispatch them with any number of executive orders. They are in our history and they predict our future.
Are you ready for the next economic collapse? It will be global, as were the last two and it will be many times more severe. Never has there been a better time to come into a personal relationship with the Living God, Creator of all that is, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, father of Jesus Christ.
Christians and non-Christians alike will go through very tough times ahead. The difference is God promises his children, we who are joint-heirs with Jesus Christ, will overcome them. I encourage you to be sensitive to the grace of God, that gift of holy desire and the power by which you fulfill it. Ask God to reveal himself to you. I did. Almost 41 years ago, I did. No political party can save us. Ronald Reagan came to us as an act of mercy by God who truly loves us so much he sent his only natural born son to die for us.
