I Quote from an Israeli news source
Rabbi Shlomo Riskin, Chief Rabbi of Efrat on Saturday night compared US President Barack Obama to Haman and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Mordechai.
Speaking at the Jerusalem Great Synagogue, the American born Riskin said that he could not understand what was going through Obama’s mind.
“The President of the United States is lashing our at Israel just like Haman lashed out at the Jews,” he said.
“I’m not making a political statement,” he clarified, “I’m making a Jewish statement.”
When a woman in the audience shouted out that Riskin was being disrespectful to the President of the United States, she was booed by the crowd and Riskin said he didn’t need any help from the audience.
“I am being disrespectful because the President of the United States was disrespectful to my prime minister, to my country, to my future and the future of the world.” – Read the full text from The Jerusalem Post: American-Israeli Rabbi compares Obama to Haman
Hatred of the Jews Has Its Roots in History
The book of Esther was written no earlier than 470 BC and probably no later than 424 BC, during the reign of Xerxes’ son Artaxerxes. [source: Chuck Swindoll]
Barack Obama comes by his hatred honestly. This hatred passed to him from his father, his father’s father back to about 424 BC.
In his book “Dreams From My Father”, he quotes his grandfather, saying, “He wrote poetry on occasion, listened to jazz, counted a number of Jews he’d met in the furniture business as his closest friends.” Isn’t that sweet. Some of his grandfather’s best friends were Jews. Does the format of that statement come across as somewhat familiar to you?
Choose This Day – Joshua’s Challenge Reverberates Today
Fact of the matter, it’s unwise, to say the least, to attack Israel. Consider God’s point of view.
8 For thus said the Lord of hosts, after [His] glory had sent me [His messenger] to the nations who plundered you—for he who touches you touches the apple or pupil of His eye:
9 Behold, I will swing my hand over them and they shall become plunder for those who served them. Then you shall know (recognize and understand) that the Lord of hosts has sent me [His messenger]. – Zechariah chapter 2
Haman chose foolishly. Obama chooses foolishly. How will YOU choose?
My choice? I choose to stand behind Israel. I will pray for the Peace of Jerusalem and for all government officials in this country to also stand behind Israel.
Choose wisely, my friends.
