The key phrase in the above headline story is, “But on Friday, Judge Robart expanded his reach…”
What is the constitutional jurisdiction of a federal judge? I refer you to Article III, Section 2 of the U.S. Constitution and Amendment XI.
The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority;—to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls;—to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction;—to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party;—to Controversies between two or more States;— between a State and Citizens of another State,—between Citizens of different States,—between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects.
Let’s compare Judge Robart’s jurisdiction to that of President Trump. I refer you to Article II, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution.
The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America.
President Trump exercised his constitutional executive power to improve the vetting process for potential immigrants from seven countries torn apart by jihadist violence or under the control of hostile, jihadist governments.
The wisdom behind President Trump’s executive order is simply to give DHS time to improve the vetting process to determine that the individual seeking the benefit is who the individual claims to be and is not a security or public safety threat.
What was Judge Robart’s position when President Obama set limits on Iraqi immigrants? Exactly. Robart has joined the Soros-funded throngs set on undermining this president’s authority.
Via my tweets to @POTUS, I encourage President Trump to ignore the unconstitutional overreach by federal judges like Robart.
Federal judges who trample the Constitution invite chaos and disaster upon our fellow citizens.
