The UN-friendly Skies of United

My first commercial airline flight was over a half-century ago and it began an odyssey of airborne experiences across the fruited plains of America, Canada, Central America, South America, and Southeast Asia.Fly the Friendly Skies of United TV

Up until the deregulation of air fares in 1978, the experience was generally pleasant. Passengers dressed for the occasion and you had choices of in-flight food. I would order special meals ahead of time.

Stewardesses and flight deck officers treated us like valued customers.

The following tongue-in-cheek training video for United Airlines employees was released only yesterday on the Fun Bible Facebook page.

As I understand the story, United Airlines forcibly evicted a paying customer in order to seat United Airlines employees who were not paying customers. That passenger who was dragged from the aircraft made a reservation and paid for a ticket. United OVERBOOKED the flight.

In the future, when I fly it will not be aboard the unfriendly skies of United.
