Philando Castile was stopped by Ramsey County Ramsey County Officer Jeronimo Yanez on July 6, 2016. On the dashcam video, you will hear Yanez say he stopped Castile for a brake light that was out. In his later testimony, Yanez said the reason he stopped this young man because Castile was a possible match for an armed robbery suspect, something that was NEVER recorded by the policeman’s dashcam equipment.

What is the most fundamental duty of all law enforcement officers and prosecutors? Look to the Declaration of Independence, second paragraph, which states:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed…”

Could Democrats actually impeach President Trump? Let’s look to the Constitution, Article I, Section 2 that authorizes only the House to impeach which is tantamount to a Grand Jury indictment and it requires a majority vote.

Now you can understand why George Soros, the Clintons, and other leftist millionaires and billionaires are investing record sums of money into congressional elections like the race in Georgia where big money Democrats have spent over $22 million to unseat Republican Karen Handel.

Rush Limbaugh famously said, “If you want to know why someone does what they do, follow the money.” The money tracks back to the corruption of the Democrat Party on a scale never before seen in American history.

Keep in mind an impeachment is nothing but an accusation. The U.S. Senate tries the President if a majority chooses to do so. We have majorities in both houses.

The threats to impeach are hollow. They serve only to rally the uninformed voters to support Democrat candidates to regain control of Congress. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Fact: The FLSA was anything but ‘fair’ because it did not apply to all hourly workers, farm workers, for example.

Fact: Many types of employment today are not covered by the FLSA or any of its subsequent derivatives. Current and past minimum wage laws do not apply to many jobs in America, waiters, for example. Learn more from the Dept. of Labor.

We as a nation have come to a place in history, a point in time, where the federal budget can no longer sustain massive socialistic spending as national debt approaches $20 TRILLION.

Neither your household or business can long remain financially viable if spending outstrips income. It’s truly not rocket science.

If a prospective homebuyer were to apply for a mortgage with his or her credit score near or below zero, you know the obvious outcome. Don’t you? Right. That loan application would be immediately denied. Is this not the situation with the Federal government?

What to do?

  • Choose to be realistic
  • Tell Congress to balance the budget
  • When the Convention of States convenes, tell your COS representative you want a balanced budget amendment.

Speaker Joe Straus: You claim to be Republican, but your actions suggest otherwise

Mr. Speaker, I read the duties of the Speaker of the House from your own website. Nowhere on that list of duties do I see a duty to autocratically obstruct the will of the people, as expressed by the majority seating before you.

I know you as a gentleman. Will you remain a gentleman in the special session?

If you believe Governor Greg Abbott’s agenda unpopular, bring all the items to the floor for a vote to prove your point.

Powers & Duties

The speaker is the presiding officer of the house of representatives. The Texas Constitution requires the house of representatives, each time a new legislature convenes, to choose one of its own members to serve as speaker.

As presiding officer, the speaker maintains order during floor debate, recognizing legislators who wish to speak and ruling on procedural matters. The constitution also requires the speaker to sign all bills and joint resolutions passed by the legislature. As a member of the house of representatives, the speaker may vote on all questions before the house.

The other duties and responsibilities of the speaker are determined by the members of the house in the House Rules of Procedure, which are adopted by a majority vote of the members at the beginning of each regular session of the legislature. The members give the speaker the authority to appoint the membership of each standing committee, subject to rules on seniority, and to designate the chair and vice chair for each committee. Under the rules, the speaker is responsible for referring all proposed legislation to committee, subject to the committee jurisdictions set forth in the rules. The rules also allow the speaker to appoint conference committees, to create select committees, and to direct committees to conduct interim studies when the legislature is not in session.

How Democrats Elected President Trump – You Didn’t Know?

We the People did not elect businessman Donald Trump president. At least, not directly. Do I have your attention?

Trump — and the Republican party — owe the presidency to millions of whites who have largely voted Democratic for years.

Let’s look back in our nation’s history, those formative years when thirteen states united as a republic. What is a state? Texas comes to mind. Fifty such states comprise our nation. (No, territories and commonwealths and districts are not states.)

Fifteen British colonies became free and independent states the moment the Declaration of Independence was unanimously ratified.

Few Americans reside in U.S. territories and commonwealths and districts. Practically all of us live in one of the fifty states.

Back to the formative years.

Following a successful campaign to win independence from Great Britain, those original thirteen states attempted to function as a unit with respect to national defense through a pact that formed a confederacy. For various reasons, the definition of a confederacyConfederacy was an unsuccessful governmental model, chiefly two: common defense and economics.

Thus it was the founders united in the same Independence Hall where the Declaration of Independence was drafted and signed on July 4, 1776, for the purpose of improving the Confederacy. However, none of the weeks of proposed improvements to the Confederacy were acceptable to all the states. It was at that crucial moment in history that the least religious founding father changed the course of American history by calling the state delegates to prayer and Bible study. Those thirteen states created the framework of government called The United States of America.

I repeat: the States created the Federal Government.

On the matter of elections to federal office, We the People elect Representatives based on population. More populous states have more representatives in the House than less populous states.

The Constitution provides representation by population and by statehood. Each state has two U.S. Senators. Some have two Senators and only one Representative (MT, ND, SD, WY).

Our Founding Fathers intended the House to represent the people and the Senate to represent the States.

The Electoral College, representing the respective states, cast 340 votes for businessman Donald Trump; 270 was the winning point. 29 states elected Mr. Trump.

Mr. Trump’s win can be attributed to Democrat voters who became fed up with corrupt socialist policies that were, and still are, crippling our country.

Bottom line: The states elect the president

The popular vote in any given state affects the number of delegates to the Electoral College and it is the votes by the Electoral College delegates that choose our president.

No, the Russians did not mark your ballots. Voters in 3,142 counties cast ballots and, to my knowledge, none of those voters were Russian citizens.

Mr. President,

The small progress we have made after 4 or five weeks close attendance & continual reasonings with each other,”our different sentiments on almost every question, several of the last producing as many noes and ays, is methinks a melancholy proof of the imperfection of the Human Understanding. We indeed seem to feel our own want ofIndependence_Hall_Detail_1752 political wisdom, some we have been running about in search of it. We have gone back to ancient history for models of Government and examined the different forms of those Republics which having been formed with the seeds of their own dissolution now no longer exist. And we have viewed Modern States all round Europe, but find none of their Constitutions suitable to our circumstances.

In this situation of this Assembly, groping as it were in the dark to find political truth, and scarce able to distinguish it when presented to us, how has it happened, Sir, that we have not hitherto once thought of humbly applying to the Father of lights to illuminate our understandings? In the beginning of the Contest with G. Britain, when we were sensible of danger we had daily prayer in this room for the divine protection. ”Our prayers, Sir, were heard, and they were graciously answered. All of us who were engaged in the struggle must have observed frequent instances of a Superintending providence in our favor. To that kind providence, we owe this happy opportunity of consulting in peace on the means of establishing our future national felicity. And have we now forgotten that powerful friend? I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth- that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without his aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the sacred writings, that “except the Lord build the House they labour in vain that build it.” I firmly believe this; and I also believe that without his concurring aid we shall succeed in this political building no better than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our little partial local interests; our projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a reproach and bye word down to future ages. And what is worse, mankind may hereafter from this unfortunate instance, [the] despair of establishing Governments be Human Wisdom and leave it to chance, war and conquest.

I, therefore, beg leave to move, that henceforth prayers imploring the assistance of Heaven, and its blessings on our deliberations, be held in this Assembly every morning before we proceed to business, and that one or more of the Clergy of the City be requested to officiate in that service.

I disagree.

Sanders violated the Article VI prohibition of religious tests and he trampled the First Amendment free exercise of religion clause.

Sanders isn’t a loner. He articulates what is in the hearts of many contemporary Democrats: virulent hatred of anyone and anything associated with Jesus Christ.

Consider the prophetic words written in 2 Timothy 3:1-9. Here are a few snippets – “in the last days…people will [be] scoffing at God. They will consider nothing sacred… They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!…These teachers oppose the truth…They have depraved minds and a counterfeit faith. 9 But they won’t get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are…”

That last line, verse 9, leaves hope for all who love liberty. There will come a time – soon – when traditional Democrats (as I once was) will experience a divine epiphany.

For those who don’t know the meaning of ‘epiphany’, I quote a dictionary definition: “a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.”

A divine ‘suddenly’ is the hallmark of God’s interventions.

There is nothing I can say or do that will convert an atheist. Only a divine revelation can turn the heart of a God hater.

The bad news is, it will get worse before it gets better.

The good news is, it will get better.
