The Founders cited 27 causes for separation and taxation wasn’t number one. You didn’t know?

causes

Taxation without representation was way down the list, number 17, to be precise. This cause was certainly important, but not the greatest provocation to rebellion.

What was the number one reason cited by the founders to “to dissolve the political bands” with Great Britain?

Answer: King George did not follow the Rule of Law.

Grievance No. 1: “He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.”

Instead of following Common Law, King George, speaking metaphorically, used his pen and his telephone to create law out of thin air.

What was the second in importance grievance that moved us to rebellion?

Grievance No. 2: “He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.”

The federal judiciary has been overstepping its constitutional jurisdiction to impose immoral and illegal constraints on the fifty states as it also has been creating law out of thin air. It’s called ‘case law’, but I challenge the reader to find the term anywhere in the U.S. Constitution Articles and Amendments.

On this solemn 241st anniversary of the birth of our nation, we find ourselves once again resetting the role of federal government.

Will there be bloodshed? In case you haven’t noticed, blood is flowing in the streets of our major cities now.

Proponents of Sharia Law challenge constitutional law.

Americans, sensible to the perils of lawlessness and out-of-control federal government, are buying firearms and ammunition at a breathtaking pace.

But, God has answered the prayers of his people. We are at a turning point. If We the People who wish to make America great again turn to God and repent of our collective and individual sins, God will preserve us.

We cannot and will not make America great again solely through political acts. Renewal of our nation of necessity will be a consequence of our people yielding to the Grace of God.
