The ACLU’s Latest ‘Dog Whistle’? – Falsely Misrepresent An Obama Immigration Policy As A Trump Policy

The ACLU’s latest false claim: Greyhound is the latest company to join the Trump administration’s anti-immigrant agenda

Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) agents are boarding buses to question and arrest passengers without a warrant or any suspicion of wrongdoing. Row by row, they scan passengers for anybody deemed “suspicious” due to the color of their skin, accent, or the way they dress. – ACLU, 8/30/2018

If this were simply a matter of ignorance of the law, this false claim would be pardonable. But, it’s not. It’s another tactic of the radical leftists to discredit President Donald Trump for carrying out his duties, as per Article I, Section 1 of the U.S. Constitution. His oath of office requires that he “faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of [his] ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

As Chief Executive of the United States of America, President Trump is obligated to faithfully execute the Supreme Law of the Land, as per Article VI.

What is the pertinent law?

The authority for this is based on the Immigration and Nationality Act 287(a)(3) and copied in 8 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 287 (a)(3), which states that Immigration Officers, without a warrant, may “within a reasonable distance from any external boundary of the United States…board and search for aliens in any vessel within the territorial waters of the United States and any railcar, aircraft, conveyance, or vehicle. 8 CFR 287 (a)(1) defines reasonable distance as 100 air miles from the border. – CBP Information Center

In 2013, NY District Judge Edward Korman reaffirmed an Obama administration policy granting officials the authority to search Americans’ laptops, citing a controversial premise that makes citizens within 100 miles of the border eligible for a police check.

An Obama administration policy? Yes, a policy of President Barack Hussein Obama.

The ACLU used to be a Civil Rights organization representing all Americans. No more. It is now merely a tool of the radical leftist Democrat Party.

In prior years, all top Democrats called for stiffer border enforcement. Hear from Sen. Chuck Schumer in 2009Hillary Clinton in 2015,  and Barack Obama in 2013,  What about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi? In July of this year (2018) Pelosi claimed the Democrats were tougher on border security than the Republicans.

Remember in November to Vote Republican to continue the path to making America great again.
