Inexplicable Paradox – Why Do Americans Marginalized By The Democrats Vote Democrat?

Will 2020 Elections Be Déjà Vu All Over Again?

African Americans and Hispanics largely voted Democrat in the 2008 elections. Why? Alexis de Tocqueville wrote Democracy in America, a two-volume treatise on the history and mechanics of American governance and character. In summary, the idea of a democratic society where all are equal, diminishes or eliminates the importance and effectiveness of fathers.

When the condition of society becomes democratic and men adopt as their general principle that it is good and lawful to judge of all things for oneself, using former points of belief not as a rule of faith, but simply as a means of information, the power which the opinions of a father exercise over those of his sons diminishes as well as his legal power.

Democracy has inherent weakness and for this reason our founding fathers created not a democracy, but a democratic republic. A republic distinguishes itself from a democracy as a champion of the individual, the Rule of Law whereas a democracy liberates the majority to impose its will on the minority. It was such an aberration of justice that facilitated human slavery. It was the power of the Rule of Law that liberated slaves. Tension between abolitionists and slave owners exposed stark opposition between free states and slave states.

A Brief History of the Republican Party

In its early history, it was known as the “Free Soil Party” and was closely allied to the abolitionist movement, you know, the people who opposed slavery. Initially, the party opposed the extension of slavery into emerging states, but the natural course of events brought it to become the party opposing ALL slavery. This party was also known as “The Party of Lincoln”.

The Republican Party coalesced around the abolitionist movement and came to be called the Republican Party in 1854. Abolitionists decided it was far easier to start a new party than to try to reform the Democrat Party. All of Lincoln’s electoral votes came from FREE states.

When Republican Lincoln took office in 1861, the abolition of slavery was an uphill battle: Supreme Court justices had a pro-slavery majority and Republicans were the minority Congressional party.

The Republican Party developed into two wings: moderates and Radical Republicans. Thos Radical Republicans were responsible for such notable things as the Confiscation Act, the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment which abolished slavery in the reunited United States.

Ku Klux Klan emerged to suppress and victimize newly freed slaves.

I could say more, like the KKK was a wing of the Democrat party or how freedmen, former slaves, elected Republican congressmen in 1866 and 1868. I add, the Civil Rights Act of 1957 became reality when Republicans, under leadership of Sen. Everett Dirkson, supported the act to overcome the longest filibuster in Senate history, a Democrat filibuster led by Strom Thurmond.

Though Democratic leaders would later attribute Ku Klux Klan violence to poorer southern whites, the organization’s membership crossed class lines, from small farmers and laborers to planters, lawyers, merchants, physicians and ministers. In the regions where most Klan activity took place, local law enforcement officials either belonged to the Klan or declined to take action against it, and even those who arrested accused Klansmen found it difficult to find witnesses willing to testify against them. Other leading white citizens in the South declined to speak out against the group’s actions, giving them tacit approval. After 1870, Republican state governments in the South turned to Congress for help, resulting in the passage of three Enforcement Acts, the strongest of which was the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871.

The Ku Klux Klan and the End of Reconstruction

Here, in the year of 2019 AD, another radical faction controls the Democratic Party, the Democratic Socialists, Marxism at its zenith.

Now, The Good News

Informed Latinos and African-Americans are successfully running for political offices, most importantly, for seats in Congress.

Under the wise leadership of President Trump, Latinos and African-Americans enjoy the lowest unemployment in history. Another ethnic group, Indian-Americans has already counted two successful governorships.

Democrat leadership assumes irrational leftists like Julián Castro, wide-eyed Corey Booker, and universal-hater Maxine Waters are the darlings of minority populations. They assume incorrectly.
