House Intelligence Committee Ranking Member Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) wrote to the committee’s chairman, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), on Sunday, suggesting that after a series of lies, “It is clear you are in need of rehabilitation.”
“Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth”, is a law of propaganda often attributed to the Nazi Joseph Goebbels. Among psychologists something like this known as the “illusion of truth” effect.

A fanatic is a person incapable of evaluating an opposing point of view.Bill O’Reilly
Russian and Chinese spies are programmed to believe the propaganda of their respective countries to the point they deny the reality of freedom of choice in America. Spies and embassy staff who seek asylum here have undergone natural reality therapy by being around Americans of good character, observing worldviews and values, engaging in conversations.
What’s the Cure?
If propaganda is the problem, the cure is found in its antonyms: truth, honesty, fact, accuracy, reality.
Dr. William Glasser first developed Reality Theory in the 1960s. Reality Therapy came to be known as Choice Theory. [Reality Therapy] refers to a process that is people-friendly and people-centered and has nothing to do with giving people a dose of reality (as a threat or punishment), but rather helps people to recognize how fantasy can distract them from their better choices (what they can control) in life.
God published His version of reality therapy almost 2,000 years ago. “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32
When and where Democrat/leftist propaganda appears, politely, lovingly repeat the truth. Eventually, most people will ‘come to the light’. Regardless of the offensive nature of fanatics, do not respond in kind; respond in love and speak truth. Be prepared ahead of time to cite facts. Remember: Facts and truth are antonyms to propaganda.
Apply elementary Choice Theory: Ask questions. Avoid arguments. When one Democrat fanatic promotes Medicare for all, ask questions: How much will it cost? How will such a program affect a taxpayer’s personal wealth? Where has socialized medicine proven to be successful? If socialized medicine works so well, why do wealthy foreigners come to America for treatment?
