In 2014, 990 people lost their lives in use of force incidents with law enforcement officers. National outrage, mobs freely destroy public and private property, fires rage, and areas of major cities become off limits to police officers.
According to the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED), “Between 26 May, the day after Floyd’s death, and 22 August, ACLED records over 7,750 demonstrations linked to the BLM movement across more than 2,440 locations in all 50 states and Washington, DC.” Why the outrage?
250,000 people die each year from medical errors, the actual third leading cause of death in America, according to a Johns Hopkins study. Where is the outrage?
Here’s a chilling fact: You are going to die. Period. All people die. In fact, according to CDC statistics, your life expectancy is 78.7 years. Babies die, children die, grandchildren die, wives and husbands die – we are all going to die. The 2018 death rate for all causes of death was 723.6/100,000 population. The U.S. population at the moment of this posting is 330,251,140. Do the math.
Breaking down the numbers:
- 2,389,697 deaths this year of 2020
- 6,529 average daily deaths
- 272 deaths per hour.
A proportion is simply a statement that two ratios are equal. Unequal ratios mean the information is disproportionate, unbalanced.
There is a principle in the Bible, Acts 17:11. Philosopher José Martí verbalized it: “The first duty of a man is to think for himself.”
The Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and other terroristic groups follow orders. The do not think for themselves.
