Shall the pot call the kettle black? A word study on bigotry

Words have meanings. This is why laws and contracts feature definitions at the top of the documents. An all too commonly used word today is bigot. It seems appropriate to learn the meaning of this word. Don’t you agree?

words of the day - Bigot and Bigotry
When someone disagrees with our president on any matter, that label of bigot gets thrown his way. There are folks labeling former Sheriff Joe Arpaio as a bigot because he defied an unconstitutional order from a federal judge.

It seems to me a lot of folks who freely use that word may not know what it actually i dont think it means whay you think it meansmeans. This is true for a lot of American English words, words like incredible; if truly incredible (unbelievable) why would use this word to describe something wonderful as something unbelievable?

Back to bigot and bigotry.

a person who is intolerant of any ideas other than his or her own, especially on religion, politics or race

My understanding of the American English vernacular (estilo Tejano) is this – the person labeling another as bigotted is himself or herself a bigot.

Actions have consequences.

How does one gain advantage through bigotted name-calling? Answer: It doesn’t happen. Instead, name-calling self-identifies the person engaged in name-calling and sets up confrontations, battle lines.
The above came to mind because you see, I am also guilty of labeling persons who think differently than I do.

A debate of ideas is how peace is made. Name-calling spells the end of the debate.

I recently posted a discussion on HRES 257 a bill before the House to outlaw animus – thoughts. HRES 257 is a desperate, unwise attempt by Congress to quell public unrest. Has anyone in Washington, D.C. considered the consequences of outlawing thoughts? Do lawmakers actually think nullification of the First Amendment natural right to freedom of conscience a good measure?

Please join me in refraining from bigotry. As it is written,

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Hate! Don’t you just hate it?

What is hate?

Let’s look up the definition on WordReference.com.

Hate as a verb

1. to dislike intensely; detest: [~ + object] They hate violence.
2. to be unwilling; dislike: [~ + to + verb] I hate to say I told you so.
[~ + verb-ing] I hate getting up so early.

Hate as a noun

1-intense dislike; extreme hostility: enemies who are full of hate.
2-the object of extreme dislike or hostility: Murder and violence were his greatest hates.

Hate is thought

Freedom of thought is an intrinsic right protected by the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. One of the five protected rights is freedom of speech. One speaks what one thinks. Words from our mouths are manifestations of the thoughts in our minds. That wasn’t so difficult to understand. Right?

HRES 257 outlaws animus and legitimizes islam

House Resolution 257 immolates the First Amendment freedom of thought to appease Muslims, LGBT activists and any other threat to our Judeo-Christian society.

Read the full text of HRES 257 via the link below.

House Resolution HRES 257 Effectively Promotes Sharia Law While Violating the First Amendment Right of Conscience

Senate and House – Working to legitimize Sharia

The full title of HRES 257 is:
Condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a minority in the United States.” What is animus? Animus definedstrong dislike or enmity; hostile attitude;
animosity. Animus is thought, not an act.

HRES 257 authorizes federal authorities to censor speech deemed ‘animus’.

If this bill becomes law, you can bend over and kiss your First Amendment goodbye.

Will the last Christian in the Democrat Party please turn off the lights when you leave?

Franklin Graham characterizes Bernie Sanders’ berating of OMB nominee Russell Vought as “opposition to Trump”.

I disagree.

Sanders violated the Article VI prohibition of religious tests and he trampled the First Amendment free exercise of religion clause.

Sanders isn’t a loner. He articulates what is in the hearts of many contemporary Democrats: virulent hatred of anyone and anything associated with Jesus Christ.

Consider the prophetic words written in 2 Timothy 3:1-9. Here are a few snippets – “in the last days…people will [be] scoffing at God. They will consider nothing sacred… They will act religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. Stay away from people like that!…These teachers oppose the truth…They have depraved minds and a counterfeit faith. 9 But they won’t get away with this for long. Someday everyone will recognize what fools they are…”

That last line, verse 9, leaves hope for all who love liberty. There will come a time – soon – when traditional Democrats (as I once was) will experience a divine epiphany.

For those who don’t know the meaning of ‘epiphany’, I quote a dictionary definition: “a sudden, intuitive perception of or insight into the reality or essential meaning of something, usually initiated by some simple, homely, or commonplace occurrence or experience.”

A divine ‘suddenly’ is the hallmark of God’s interventions.

There is nothing I can say or do that will convert an atheist. Only a divine revelation can turn the heart of a God hater.

The bad news is, it will get worse before it gets better.

The good news is, it will get better.

Ley pertinente: 18 U.S. Code § 2384 – Seditious conspiracy

“If two or more persons in any State or Territory, or in any place subject to the jurisdiction of the United States, conspire to overthrow, put down, or to destroy by force the Government of the United States, or to levy war against them, or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States, or by force to seize, take, or possess any property of the United States contrary to the authority thereof, they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.”

– 1 Timoteo 2:1-2

The ACLU’s strategy: Confusing until you consider these facts

Fact no. 1: The ACLU stridently opposes bills in the Texas Legislature crafted to protect stand up for religious freedomvulnerable Texas children. Specifically HB 3859 and SB6; the first to prevent homosexuals from either fostering or adopting children in the care of the State, the second to protect vulnerable women and children from sexual predators in restrooms, locker rooms, and dressing rooms.

Fact no. 2: In the worldview of Muslims, homosexuality is as unacceptable as it is in the worldview of Christians. References: Qur’an 4:15, 4:16

Fact no. 3: The national political director of the ACLU is a devout Muslim, Faiz Shakir.

Fact no. 4: While the ACLU says it supports religious freedom, this support only goes to Muslims and atheists – Christianity is a target, not a client.

Contrast the outrageous claims of Barack Obama, who likens radical Islam to Christianity, with Fox News panelists and American Christian leaders.

Islamic reality in Pakistan, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Iran, and Afghanistan where Muslims mercilessly murder and persecute Christians. The above video clarifies untruths (aka lies) voiced by Islamists in this country.

If Islamists activists prevail in their all-out assault on Christianity, using LGBTQ activists, the ACLU, and atheists in their cause, even this blog will be criminalized.

The political strategy of the ACLU isn’t at all confusing when you have all the facts.

The King of Kings has a more durable kingdom than the King of Pot

thy kingdom comeOn which subject did Jesus Christ teach most often? Was it money?  No. Was it adultery? Not that either.

The top subject of Jesus’ teachings is the Kingdom of God, aka the Kingdom of Heaven. A New Testament word search of the 21st Century King James Version (no, I haven’t researched all versions) yields a count of 125 instances of the topic of money and 164 instances of the topic of the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven. Counting further, Jesus used the phrase ‘my kingdom’ three times and the phrase ‘His kingdom’ (referring to God’s kingdom) 12 times. In all, Jesus referred to the Kingdom of God 179 times.

Inarguably, peace is the most sought commodity anywhere on the earth. The most sought coin by coin collectors is the Eisenhower Peace silver dollars, according to the U.S. Coin Guide.

There is the lesser kingdom of drug addiction that rules the lives of its legal and illegal subjects.

Deep in the heart of the Kingdom of Pot in northern California, congregants depart this for a more durable peace in the Kingdom of God.

From The Baptist Press read:

Church in marijuana mecca offers ‘radical grace’

As recorded in John 14:27 (NLT), Jesus said, “I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

Pot users flock to Arcata, California to find fleeting peace through pot and wind up finding everlasting peace through a local portal into the Kingdom of God.

Speaking to doubting Thomas, Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!

Are you desperate for peace today? I have good news! You don’t have to travel to Arcata, California to find it. Jesus is omnipresent. He’s waiting for you to open your heart to him.

In August of 1974, I was unemployed and in a desperate situation. I told my wife, “I don’t know what to do.” She said we needed to go to church. After a divine encounter with the Creator of the Universe, the King of kings, I became a new creature. Changes began overnight and continue these many years later on.

As I move into my twilight years, I don’t fear death; I just want others to experience this radical peace only found in the Kingdom of God.

Call on him while you can. There comes a time when it will be too late.

Catalog of Subversive Organizations

The below-named organizations are subversive in every sense of the word.

Subversion is the act of overthrowing or attempting to overthrow a government, or some power or authority. Our republic was built upon the principle of the rule of law which is the principle that all people and institutions are subject to and accountable to law that is fairly applied and enforced; the principle of government by law. Any person or persons who undermine this principle are inherently subversive.

A republic is a state in which the supreme power rests in the body of citizens entitled to vote and is exercised by representatives chosen directly or indirectly by them.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC)

Mark Potok says of organizations that oppose illegal immigration, “I want to say plainly that our aim in life is to destroy these groups, to completely destroy them…”. [Source link]

The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF)

Find them on Facebook.

The FFRF claims to uphold “Free Thought” the [people] first to speak out for prison reform, for humane treatment of the mentally ill, for abolition of capital punishment, for women’s right to vote, for death with dignity for the terminally ill, and for the right to choose contraception, sterilization and abortion have been freethinkers. The about section of the FFRF website falsely claims it was ‘free thinkers’ who were “the first to call for an end to slavery”. Well, not exactly. The anti-slavery movement has it roots in English Christianity, not atheism. Slave merchants were generally not religious people.

The FFRF pushes for free thought for everyone who is an atheist, supporter of abortion and homosexuality, and those who would revise our common history.

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF)

Find them on Facebook.

The ‘about’ section of the foundation’s website says:

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) is dedicated to ensuring that all members of the United States Armed Forces fully receive the Constitutional guarantee of religious freedom to which they and all Americans are entitled by virtue of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.”

The above is true if your religion is atheism.
